Envello’s purpose is to make the world a happier place through better sleep. We believe that if more people slept better, it would have a positive impact on our society.
The problem is, in Canada, too many families in-need don’t get to experience that better sleep, because when they’re just getting back on their feet, purchasing bedding and other household linens is just one in a long list of required essentials.
We’re helping to change that through our partnership with Furniture Bank.
Furniture Bank is a registered Toronto-based charity working to end furniture poverty and give everyone the dignity of a furnished home. Furniture Bank transforms lives by giving unwanted furniture to Canadians in need.
That’s where we come in. As trends or seasons change, we may still have left-over inventory, or customer returns that are still new, but cannot be re-sold. While many retailers choose to dispose of this inventory by sending it to landfill, we are committed to finding a better solution.
So far this year, we are proud to have been able to donate new, sustainably made wool blankets to Furniture Bank, who have re-distributed them to over 360 families across the Greater Toronto Area.
