3 reasons to try (and buy) our sheets

1. Fibres
We use only 100% pure long-staple cotton. Long-staple cotton is one of the world's finest and is the basis of quality single-ply yarns. Longer fibres can be spun into stronger, smoother weaves for sheets that are soft to the touch and super long-lasting.
2. Yarn
Our bedding is made with single-ply yarns from long-staple cotton. The result is extremely fine and strong threads, which produce that luxurious feel and reliable durability you expect from your sheets. How the yarn is woven is equally important - we use traditional Portuguese methods which result in an amazingly smooth and high-quality finish.

3. Thread Count
Thread count refers to the number of threads woven in a square inch of fabric. On average, a square inch allows for the weaving of 400 threads.
Myth buster: higher isn’t always better!
While higher counts are possible, often the result is a very dense heavy and warm sheet - not particuarly suited to a good sleep. If you're interested in getting into the nitty gritty and why we do it best, check out our recent blog post.
Weaves

Percale
A one thread over, one thread under weave allows air to pass through easily for soft, crisp and lightweight bedding.

Sateen
A three thread over, one thread under weave gives this fabrication its signature silky sheen and smooth, heavy finish.
