Bamboo Mochila

In Spanish, mochila means knapsack or backpack.  With their beautiful colours and patterns, we think they are more like functional works of art, making the perfect alternative to a regular everyday purse or tote.

Ours are handmade in partnership with Mochila Market, a social enterprise located in Chorrera, Colombia - about an hour’s drive from our founder’s home town of Barranquilla. 

Each mochila is unique and depending upon its size, takes its weaver on average between 10-16 days to complete.

Made of cotton and natural fibres, our Fair Trade mochilas are durable and meant to be used every day - as a purse, shopping or beach bag, laptop tote...whatever you can imagine!

This bag measures 8.5" x 11" with a 39" long strap.

Machine wash separately in cold water and lay flat to dry.
